    Do you have all of your apps in labeled folders? Or maybe proofread your papers multiple times? Are you highly motivated and love detail-oriented work? Then the Quote Specialist Intern position could be just the role for you!

    Your team contributions include:

    As a quote specialist, you are essential to our sales process. You will be responsible for processing insurance quote requests and coordinating with third parties to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you are their first step to gaining an insurance policy by constructing their quote presentation.

    The position will begin part-time in April and transition to full-time during the summer months.

    Preferred qualifications and skills include:

    • An ability to comfortably communicate via email

    • Have a team-oriented mindset

    • A love for detail-oriented tasks

    • An ability to meet deadlines

    • Are able to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable

    • Strive for organization

    • Being eager to learn

    • Progressing towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field of study

    Snapshot of what you will do:

    Use your informal and formal coursework to gain hands-on experience by:

    • Setting up equipment and workstations for employee use.

    • Serving team members by helping troubleshoot computer software, hardware, network issues, and answer questions.

    • Installing, configuring, and performing repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment.

    • Assisting with local PC security and user management.

    • Assisting with technology purchasing and inventory management.

    Qualifications :

    • Currently enrolled in an IT, computer science, or related associates or undergraduate program.

    • Coursework or knowledge in the areas of service desk operations, local area networking, servers, Windows operating systems, and/or Microsoft 365 suite.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate face to face, over the phone, or zoom.

    • Strong desire to help your coworkers and have positive interactions.

    • Ability to be a critical thinker, inquisitive, and use common sense.

    • Ability to adjust to changing tasks and priorities.

    • Self-starter who is responsible and ready to grow.
